Absolutely! We offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to listen to your concerns, clarify goals, and recommend whether assessment or therapy is the best next step.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to access services?

For most of our services, no referral is required. You’re welcome to contact us directly we’ll guide you through the process.

Psychological Assessments

Who should consider a learning or cognitive assessment?

Children, teens, and adults experiencing:
– Difficulty with hyperactivity, focusing or staying organized
– Challenges in school or work performance
– Ongoing frustration with reading, writing, or math
– Mood, anxiety, or behavior concerns

What is a psychoeducational assessment for ADHD, autism, or learning differences?

A psychoeducational assessment evaluates learning, attention, processing speed, and social-emotional skills. It uncovers strengths and challenges helping you secure accommodations and targeted interventions.

What happens during the assessment process, and how long does it take?

1. Intake interview (60–90 min)
2. Testing sessions (1.5–2 hr each; 3–4 visits)
3. Feedback meeting (60 min)
At the end of the process, clients will have a diagnosis, if applicable and a detailed report with many recommendations to assist with the challenges identified.

How long is a therapy session, and do you offer virtual appointments?

Sessions are 50 minutes. We provide both in-person and secure virtual therapy to suit your needs.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions and may transition to bi-weekly as goals are met. You and your therapist will collaborate to find the right rhythm for you.
