Support for School, University & Work

Why an Accurate Diagnosis Matters

When learning or attention problems are not noticed, they can affect not only how well you do but also your confidence, drive, and mental health. A correct diagnosis brings relief. It gives a clear and true reason for the challenges you or your child might have.

Post-Secondary & the Workplace

For adults and college students, a diagnosis is the official proof needed to get important accommodations. This can include extra time on exams, use of assistive technology, extended deadlines, or special support at work. Our reports give the proof you need to get the help that will help you succeed.

Practical Support in Local Schools

Our psycho-educational assessments help you understand your child’s needs. School boards decide final placements, but our reports are accepted by public, Catholic, French-language, and private schools in Hamilton, Burlington, and nearby areas.

Why Choose Dr. Sala & Associates for Your Assessment?

We listen to your whole story, not just symptoms

From the very beginning, we focus on building trust and understanding your unique experiences. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, your story matters, and we take the time to hear it.

Support tailored to your stage and needs

Whether you’re a parent navigating school challenges, a university student preparing for exams, or an adult seeking long-awaited answers, we tailor the assessment process to your needs. Our approach is flexible, respectful, and grounded in empathy.

Clear, practical reports you can use

You will receive a written report that does not just list scores, it explains what they mean in real life. Our reports include meaningful recommendations you can use at school, work, or home.

A whole-person approach

You are more than your challenges. We consider emotional well-being, lived experiences, and social context alongside learning patterns. When appropriate, we can explore how mental health, stress, or self-esteem may be connected to learning or attention difficulties.

A process designed to support you

Assessments can feel overwhelming, but we walk with you through every step. We offer a clear process, flexible scheduling, and a warm, welcoming environment.
