OAP Assessments in Hamilton
If your child or teen has an autism diagnosis, you know it’s just one part of their unique story. Our OAP assessments look beyond the diagnosis to provide a complete picture of their learning and emotional needs, helping you create the best support plan.
OAP Assessments – A Deeper Understanding
This assessment is not for an autism diagnosis. It is an in-depth evaluation for children and teens who already have an ASD diagnosis and are supported by the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), and may be eligible for further funding to address co-occuring concerns.
You may still have big questions. Why is school a struggle? Are big emotions getting in the way? Could something else like ADHD, anxiety, or a learning disability be part of the picture? This assessment helps answer those questions by exploring your child’s learning style, emotional well-being, and cognitive skills.
Who can benefit?
This evaluation is designed for families who are seeking deeper insight and more effective strategies. It is ideal for:
